Ribeira Sacra - Pablo Prat

This is the fourth landscape of the Spanish landscapes series. The Ribeira Sacra is an inland region in Galicia, northwest of Spain. This area is defined mainly by the rivers Sil and Miño, and its spectacular canyons, especially the one formed by the river Sil. Wine lovers will find a multitude of ‘adegas’ (wineries) all over and enjoy its excellent wines, many of them produced from the vineyards grown on the slopes of the canyons. You add a plethora of churches and monasteries to the cocktail and you have a perfect destination for your next trip, really worth a visit.  The Ribeira Sacra is close to my mother’s hometown and is fairly unknown outside of Galicia.
