This is the sixth landscape of the Spanish landscapes series. This is my mothers’s hometown, Cimadevila (the houses on the background), in the county of Montederramo, in the province of Ourense, in Galicia, northwest Spain. In the summer, at night we would usually have a walk along the road that you can see on the picture and that leads to Sampaio, a nearby town. The skies are stunning, since it is all dark and you can see thousands of stars and even a few shooting stars. I love the nights with a full moon and the magic effect of its light in the atmosphere.
