Pablo Prat Blog – Barcelona II
This a view of the famous Torre Glòries (Former Torre Agbar), the second scene of a series of illustrations depicting my hometown, Barcelona. The scene depicted is from the crossing between Perú and Bac de Roda streets, looking west. The silhouette of this building is almost magic and at night it is illuminated with thousands of LEDs of different colors that can show animated patterns and designs. It can be seen from many places in the city and beyond. The huge tower on the background and its singular shape elevating over the quite conventional urban surroundings is an interesting contrast. At night you sometimes see unconventional things in conventional places…
